Since 2005 I've maintained my "dear diary" blog "Bruce Clement, an Occasional Diary" on Blogspot.
The blog certainly lives up to its name as I have sometimes gone several months between blog posts. Initially I used the "Kiore" nickname I've had since the mid 1990s and mixed in all sorts of content. Eventually it became obvious to me that this just wasn't working so I split two types of content out of the blog, including moving the archives.
- Social commentary into ¿Que?, named for Manuel from Fawlty Towers, and
- Domaining related content into Domaining .NZ.
Since then, I've split off a few other single themed blogs and kept my occasional diary for that and the occasional thing that interests me, especially jokes. This does encourage me, unfortunately not quite enough, but it does help.
